I wanted it to have an unreal graphic quality to it, a survey of the surface of Mars and my hand.
The drawing is created on 100% acid-free cotton rag paper called hot press board. It is specially created in the US with a process called hot press, where the cotton fibers are rolled through very heavy presses to create a very smooth finish. With proper care the drawing will last 500 years.
